Take part

Would you like to take part in our challenge? All you have to do is think up 101 tasks that you would really like to do in the next 1001 days.

Indeed, the very first challenge could be to come up with the 101 tasks.

You can even use our badge, to be found here:

If you decide to join us, please let me know through my contact me form and we can support each other with our tasks.

Need more inspiration for your list?

Help is at hand:

Tasks I would have listed (had I not already done them):

  • Try yoga/salsa
  • Get a tattoo
  • Go veggie for a month (in my case, 16 years – but I have since returned to meat)
  • Sleep under the stars
  • Dress up as Santa (it’s an odd wish seeing as I’m a girl, but I loved it!)
  • Have a baby (me x 4)
  • Dance in the rain
  • Kiss in the rain (it rains a lot in Scotland and I lived there most of my life)
  • Skinny dipping
  • Dye my hair
  • Go to the zoo (comes up a lot on other people’s lists)
  • Ride a horse/camel
  • Go ice skating (I couldn’t stay up even before I got to the rink)
  • Watch the sunrise
  • Go to the theatre
  • Go to a concert
  • Go on a cruise
  • Prepare my own sushi
  • Wine tasting
  • Go to Paris
  • Make home-made bread
  • Fly a kite
  • Plant a tree
  • Watch a film in 3D
  • Go strawberry picking

Challenges I saw on other lists, but don’t rock my boat (however each to their own) 😉

  • Go camping
  • Skydiving
  • Go rock climbing
  • Go skiing
  • Eat no sugary food for a week 😯
  • Take a photo a day for a year
  • Go bungee jumping
  • Compile my family tree

  1. I’ve read about this on Tilly’s blog. It’s very tempting.

I’m going to try and think of 101 tasks, and if I can I’ll give it a go.

Either way, I’ll follow how you’re getting on.

    1. Fantastic!! We would be delighted for you to join us.
I’ll send you an email with some information that might help you with ideas. 🙂

  2. Hi, Just found this post and followed the link to see who else was doing it and found it was me lol!

Can I use your badge – it’s much better than mine! 🙂
    How’s it going?

    1. Of course!! You inspired me in the first place. I’m glad you like the badge, my husband designed it for us.

So far, everything is going really well. I’ve written you an email re the badge.

  3. I didn’t realise you [your husband] had designed the badge yourself 🙂 I will use it when I publish my list too. I’m over half way – I’ll go public when I get to 70+ (Although, I’m tempted to begin some challenges this weekend so I might have to begin the count down earlier than planned, or replace the challenges).

One of your suggestions was dress up as Santa – That’s given me another for my list – I want to do a Santa Run! I’ve been saying that for 3 years but something has always come up. If it’s on my list I have to do it.

    1. How cool!! I totally loved dressing up as Santa. And a Santa run sounds brilliant!!

Yes, I’m really pleased with how the badge turned out – hubby did a good job.

I’m really lokking forward to seeing your list!!

  4. I loved the idea right away. I’m making my list right now, but I only came up with 52 (in 2 hours :P)
I’ll begin as soon as I have 101 tasks 🙂

      1. Thank you!! I still need 31 tasks, but I should be ready in 2 days or so, can’t wait to get started 😀

        1. I’m looking forward to reading your list. If you prefer, you can start before you have all your tasks written up. A lot of us do that. Then you can add new ideas as they come along. But of course, you’re welcome to wait until you have another 31 tasks!!

    1. Are you going to join us? That would be fantastic!!

The last few months have been particularly stressful for me and these challenges have helped to keep me focussed and positive.
